Load searches from FF search bar in new tab

Step 1:
download and install this handy extention, 'tabbrowser perferences'

Step 2:
restart firefox

Step 3:
goto
Tools -> Options -> Tabbed Browsing -> User Interface
select the box, ‘Searches from the search bar’
